Koban's Portable Earthquake Detection Device
If you are not too particularly trusting of the Koban's "Super Multifunctional Earthquake Detecting Device" capability to deliver accurate and timely information regarding the sometimes unstable movements of the Earth's tectonic plates, the device would still satisfy the need for a stand alone AM/FM radio. This hand-cranked gadget is really a nice emergency gadget which features an LED flashlight, AM/FM radio, multiple phone chargers (Japan specific), and a siren.
