Pocket-Lint have published a review of the OverBoard Adventure Trolley Backpack. 'Measuring 50 x 33 x 24cm it falls into the dimensions required for hand luggage if you are a frequent flyer and features a 55cm telescopic handle, so rolling it on the two bottom-mounted wheels should present no problems. These wheels are well attached and the solid plastic base extends to surround the wheels, so should survive kerbs and car boots with no problems. The main compartment contains a sleeve that will hold a laptop – OverBoard say up to 16-inches and our 15.4-inch test PC fitted with no problems. There are also two dividers that would keep documents under control whilst the rest of the compartment should be big enough to accommodate a change of shirt and underwear for an overnight trip.'

CNET have published a review of the Verizon Wireless Network Extender cellphone accessory. 'Just like the Airave, the Verizon Wireless Network Extender is made by Samsung, which might explain the similar design. It looks like a regular wireless router, and on the front are four LED indicators for Power, System, GPS, and WAN status. On the back are an Ethernet jack, a charger jack, the power switch, and an antenna that can rotate up to 180 degrees. Also on the back, toward the top, is a built-in GPS antenna. The GPS is required to maintain network-timing updates plus to provide E911 services. If you can't get a GPS signal where you are, you can pop out the antenna, attach a cable to it, and position the antenna in an area of your home with the best GPS signal. In general, you should try to set up your Network Extender next to a window for the best possible signal.'

Shaving Stuff have published a review of the Schick Quattro Titanium trimmer. 'This razor has a four-bladed cartridge for a super-close shave, an edging blade for keeping your hairlines straight, a powered handle for a smooth comfortable shaving, and now trimmer for taming your bushy sideburns. (The trimmer is at the bottom of the handle; see picture on right.) And as ridiculous as it sounds, I really like it. I haven't been a huge fan of Schick razors before, but this one won me over. The Quattro has a big, beefy, rubberized handle which allows you to get a nice grip. It's certainly heavier than razors of 10 years ago, but for me that's a plus. It feels sturdy.'

A review of the Adidas Adistar Control 5 running shoos has been posted over at Pocket-lint.co.uk. 'Adidas Footscan comes in two components basically a pressure mat and a PC that contains the brains of the outfit. Having run across the mat, the pattern left by the foot will be recorded and able to be interpreted. Not only will it tell you which part of the foot hit the ground first, but the subsequent motion of the foot going forward from there, including, importantly, any lateral movement, which is often the problem. It will also show you the information for both feet. We tested the system and were advised that the Adidas Adistar Control 5 shoes were the best option for us. We already knew that we needed motion control shoes, so it was good to see visual confirmation of the actual mechanics of the foot strike. But did the system correctly identify the right shoes for us and how did they perform?'

'Cutting is handled by the twin foil arrangement, which sandwiches a central cutter, which Braun claims allows three progress cuts in one stroke, thereby reducing the number of passes of the shaver and lessening the chance of irritation on the skin. We found that on short stubble, in a daily shave it worked very well, giving a comfortable and reasonably close shave without irritation. The flexible head means that it will follow the major contours of your face, however the two foils are also spring mounted, so help to follow those lines even closer. Pocket-Lint have published a review of the Philips QT4045 vacuum trimmer. 'The QT4045 offers cutting lengths of 1.5mm to 18mm across nine different settings. The silver tube-shaped shaver fits comfortably in any manly hand. Buttons, dials, and knobs are kept to a minimum with a single on/off button. Changing the setting is by twisting a ring (called the Precision Zoom Lock) to raise the cutting length. Unfortunately, rather than inform you of the length of cut you are changing it to, Philips has opted for a number from 1 to 9. It's an annoying move as it means you've got to revert to the manual to find out what you are about to cut. There is no logical formula to it. Number 7 on the gauge for example is 12mm. Luckily the locking mechanism is strong enough that it won't be suddenly changed when you start cutting.'

CNET have published a review of the Targus Zip-Thru Traveler Laptop Case. 'Zipped up, the Targus looks much like any other 15-inch, laptop shoulder bag. It measures 16.9 inches wide by 6.5 inches deep by 13.9 inches tall, and is made of standard ballistic nylon. The rear compartment is very well padded, and should provide more than adequate protection for a laptop, but because only a computer is allowed in that compartment, everything else will have to fit in the front half of the bag. That front half is a bit on the narrow side, and large laptop power bricks will be cramped. It's perfect, however, for papers, magazines, and other flat objects. A review of the Olympus LS-10 portable digital recorder has been psoted over at Pocket-Lint. 'Taking the LS-10 out of the box and the first impression is that you have bought something that is going to take you a long time to understand. The pencil case sized device doesn't take the minimalist approach. It takes the "lets put yet another button in that bit of space" approach. On a device measures 131.5 x 48 x 22.4mm there are 17 buttons, 5 input sockets, two microphones, and a large LCD screen that gives you information such as recording length, the recording rate, levels of the recording and how much space you've got left in hours, minutes and seconds.'

'You can scroll through your list of contacts using the buttons beneath the screen, or enter phone numbers using the numeric keypad. You can speak into the handset if you want, but we liked the phone’s ability to automatically switch into hands-free speakerphone mode should you simply dial a number without lifting up the handset. The only minor annoyance was that when dialling numbers on the keypad you first have to enter the UK dialling code (+44) to tell Skype that you’re dialling a UK number. If you’re using Skype on the computer you can set it to use the +44 code automatically, and it’s a shame that the Desktop Internet Phone doesn’t do this as well.'

Trusted Reviews have published a review of the Vita Audio R4 DAB/FM radio. 'Like most of these new all-in-one devices the R4 features an iPod dock, a CD player, (which, in addition to regular music CDs, plays MP3 and WMA discs), FM and DAB radio tuners, a 2.1 speaker setup, and of course an amp to power the whole lot. In fact, about the only thing that sets this apart from its competitors is the inclusion of a USB port on the front. This allows you to plug in a USB thumb drive and playback whatever mp3s you have thereon. It's quite a useful feature but we're not sure it's really necessary and we'd prefer to have the port on the back to reduce clutter on the front.'

A review of the Mobile Edge Dig Laptop Messenger notebook carrying case has been posted over at PC Mag. 'The Dig's main compartment is divided into two sections. The laptop bag's trademarked Superior SafetyCell computer protection compartment is designed to accommodate 15.4-inch laptops, though my 17-inch MacBook Pro was able to fit snugly. The cushion was thick enough to make my laptop feel really well protected. The second section can hold a paper notebook or a few magazines, but not much else. Underneath the flap, there's a front Velcro enclosed sleeve with a pocket for your wallet, cell phone, and various gadgets, plus another mesh zippered section for your pencils and pens.'

Laptop Magazine have published a review of the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen which is a computer within a pen that captures handwriting and simultaneously records audio and synchronizes it to the writing. 'The Pulse is about the size and weight of a highlighter; it has a ballpoint cartridge and includes three refills of black ink and a stylus tip. About 6 inches long and half an inch in diameter, the charcoal blue, anodized aluminum pen is easy to tote in its included case and fits into a shirt pocket or pen slot. On its spine the Pulse has a 96 x 18-pixel OLED display and a power button above it. Dual embedded mics straddle the screen, and a speaker lies below. I was sent the Black with Orange. Right away I realized that the Mobile Edge Mini Messenger was not really a true messenger style bag - not that there is a definition carved in stone somewhere out there... 'Constructed from matte black plastic with a green interior, the Juice Pack's unique design fits onto your iPod Touch like a case. If the iPod Touch wasn't already so thin, we'd feel the need to complain about how the Juice Pack doubles the total thickness of the player. In truth, we thought the extra bulk added by the Juice Pack made our iPod Touch feel more substantial. The Mophie Juice Pack also adds an extra inch to the bottom of the Touch, obscuring the iPod's dock connection and relocating the headphone jack to the bottom left.'

CNET have published a review of the Penguin 4X Quad Charge Station for the Wii which recharges 4 Wii remotes simultaneously. 'The Quad Charge Station is a circular base that won't go sliding away thanks to its rubber feet. The four Wii remote docking slots are arranged in a cross-shaped pattern on the unit's topside, which is sloped upward. The bright blue LEDs under each docking slot aren't the tackiest thing we've ever come across, but in a dark room they may become distracting. Unfortunately, there's no way to turn these lights off once the charging base is plugged in, but the AC adapter cable is detachable from the base itself.

The Gadgeteer have published a review of the Aerielle i2i Stream wireless digital audio device for iPod and MP3 Players. 'The i2i Stream is a small module that has both a receiver and a transmitter contained inside it, that operates on the 2.5GHz frequency. They are sold in packs of two for $119.95, or can be purchased separately at $69.95 each. I was sent one package of two for this review. The modules are approximately 2.5 x 1.25 x 075 inches in size. On the face of the i2i Stream are three buttons and two LEDs. The round center button is the channel button. It has an LED behind it, that can glow Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple or Light Blue. Each color signifies a different transmit channel and changes each time you press it. The button above the channel button is the Send button and the button below it is the Receive button. If you press the Send button, it will cause the center LED to blink, which shows that you're broadcasting audio on whichever colored channel is blinking. Pressing the Receive button will cause the module to receive any audio that is being broadcast on whichever colored channel that you're set to.'

TabletPCReview have published a review of the CODi Phantom CT3 Checkpoint laptop bag. 'If you are familiar with CODi products, you would recognize the Phantom CT3 as a CODi design immediately. It is simple, no frills and is made of the same black ballistic nylon as many of their other bags. There is a small red CODi CT3 label on the front and the zipper hardware has CODi engraved on them.
