Overland Park, Kan. — The versatile new Infinity 8-16x42mm zoom binocular combines the benefits of a binocular and spotting scope in a compact package. With a power range from 8x to 16x, it will appeal to big game hunters, avid birders and wildlife observers. Like all Infinity binoculars, the new zoom model features an open bridge design; a high performance optical system with excellent light transmission; a lightweight chassis that’s waterproof/fogproof (unlike most zoom binoculars sold today); and the Bushnell patented RainGuard® HD lens coating.
The new Super High Reflection SHR™ coating and roof prisms with PC-3 phase coating ensure maximum light transmission throughout the zoom range under any lighting condition, as well as unmatched clarity and resolution.
The new Infinity is O-ring sealed and nitrogen-purged to be waterproof and fog proof, something rarely seen in zoom binoculars, especially anywhere near the Infinity’s price. Convenience features include a locking diopter, twist-up eyecups and long eye relief for eyeglass wearers, and a large center focus knob.
