What makes the AVS-P2-23 so revolutionary is that the video is stored on a semiconductor memory device. As opposed to video tape or hard disk, the memory card means that there isn’t any moving parts used for video storage. This means that maintenance costs are far lower than for drive mechanism cameras. This also leaves the camera more resistant to impact, vibration, temperature change, dust and other environmental conditions. Not only that, data transfer speeds are higher. To give your productions tremendous flexibility, the AVSP223 IEEE 1394 camcorder records in over 32 HD and SD formats. The 3-CCD camcorder records on re-usable, removable P2 cards.
